Protesting workers urge EFCC to vacate TOMPOLO’s Property
By Steve Seigha, Warri
Hundreds of placards carrying protesting workers from a Warri based company Mieka Dive Nigeria Limited owned by former militant leader TOMPOLO have staged a peaceful protest over the refusal of operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes commission EFCC to vacate their site.
This is coming five months after a federal high court sitting in Lagos quashed charges against TOMPOLO who was declared wanted by the Federal government.
The over five hundred workers who displayed placards with different inscriptions calling on president Bihari to prevail on the Anti-graft agency to vacate their premises, promise not to relent until the the court order which was not appealed is obeyed.
