Taraba govt. fixes collapsed bridge
Following the hardship experienced by commuters plying Wukari -Takum axis area of Taraba state when a bridge linking both towns collapsed in Chanchanji last week, sources in the area disclosed weekend that repair work commenced.
According to a resident of the area, Henry Agbu, “Taraba state government is working on it now.”

An eyewitness, Emmanuel Teryima who said the repair works started on Friday explained that the makeshift bridge done through community effort was removed.
He noted that the contractors had almost completed their job when he left the scene of construction, Friday evening.
Another resident of the area, Emeka Ogbu who spoke through telephone said the road is now motorable and much better.
