Supper Eagles to tackle Brazil on friendly
By Clarkson Ogo
The Super Eagles of Nigeria will face International power house Brazil in an international friendly in October.
This announcement was made by the Brazilian football federation late on Monday via a tweet where it announced that it will play Nigeria and Senegal during the October FIFA Window in Singapore.
The match is part of Brazil’s Gillette World Tour. The match itself will hold on October 13th at the Singapore National Stadium and it will be the 1st time Nigeria will face Brazil since the Opening of the Abuja National Stadium where Brazil defeated the Super Eagles 3-0. Gil, Luís Fabiano and Adriano scored the goals for La Selecao.
The Nigeria Football Federation NFF conformed the friendly via the Super Eagles official verified twitter handle where it retweeted the earlier tweet by the Brazilian football federation.
This will serve as a good test for Nigeria as the Eagles friendly for the upcoming AFCO.
