INEC commences voters’ registration clean up

The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has commenced the process of cleaning up the Registers of Voters to ensure a credible, free and fair Election come 2019.
The Administrative Secretary, Mrs Rose Oriaran- Anthony made this known to newsmen yesterday in Asaba, the Delta State capital, while calling on persons to check voter cards details to avoid not been capture in the final register.
Mrs, Oriaran- Anthony said, the Preliminary Registers of Voters (PRV) will be display from Tuesday 6th November to 12th November 2018 at all the 3,624 polling units across State, stressing that, this is to afford prospective voters who registered earlier to make claims and objections where necessary and this claims can only take place at the Ward headquarters by INEC Officials.
Mrs enjoined voters to ” seize the opportunity to check their names to ensure that their details such as names, age and address etc are properly captured. Objection on the inclusion of dead, under age or non- Nigerians will also be attended to at the ward Headquarters”.
