IJF would collaborate with other bodies such as civil society groups, Nigerian Union of Journalists and the government to ensure peace, unity and justice reign the the country. IJT is to give adequate reporting of the Ijaw oil bearing communities in Niger Delta who have been grossly raped, abused, marginalized and oppressed by both multinationals and successive governments of Nigeria over the years.
We will not wait for others to tell our story of under development amidst abundant oil and Gas resources and virtually live in abject poverty and wretchedness
