FG urged to implement pension law

Federal Government should enforce Implementation of pension laws across Local Government and State’s in the Country.
The chairman Nigeria Union of Pensioners, Akwa Ibom State, Comrade Apostle Obong Ekpenyong Daniel Ekpo JP made the appeal in his office while fielding question from journalist over pension issues in Uyo.
The chairman said the implementation would assist Federal Government purpose plan on ammonization of pension in every five years which some states are yet to domicile.
According to him, Akwa Ibom Government should emulate their counterpart to adopt Federal Government modern of pension ammonization, as it affect the contemporary economy situation.
Obong Ekpenyong lamented that for the past twenty years Akwa Ibom Government has not increase pension in the state which is unfortunate experience leaving the aged retirees in perpetual suffering and bondage, as they face hardship on the subject matter.
He said Government should not continue to put deaf ear on the matter again while believe they would surely extend hands of fellowship to pensioners who are seriously facing hardship and die on daily basic needs to feel a little smile from them.
He believe Federal Government would create out modalities over logical conclusion for the implementation of pension law in the country while called on pensioners to continue exercise patience believed the issues would be history

Cultist activities invaded Akwa Ibom State
Resident of Ikot Inyang community, EkparaKwa, Oruk Anam Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State has disappeared to the thin air over cult activities and kidnapping roaming across the community.
A Reliable source said cult activities is like festival in the community which made some people and indigence of the community change environment completely not to be unfortunate victim over their evil activities in the community.
Our corresponded report that suspected cultist on September 20th2021 round sack the entire building of a 90 years grandfather known as Mr Udo William killed him and his 45 years old son without mercy having conscience on their action.
Information bounds from the community said Otobong always throw his political weight in supporting the member representing Oruk Anam State constituency in Akwa Ibom State house of Assembly, Sir Udo kerim Akpan. Which Otobong was celebrating his birthday when the gunmen immediately display maradona system invaded his house and kill him on the spot without compromise.
Related development informs that a serving superintendent of police (name withheld) also suffered from the hands of cultist which his car was burnt down completely later escape for his life. Meanwhile know information was made towards the incidents, as people continue to be in fear of cult activities parading the entire area.
It was gather that the killing experience across the community was not link with the communal clash between Ikot Inyang and Ikot Ebak community due to cult activities villagers has fled to neighboring communities for refuge and void been arrest by security agent.
Members of the community who spoke on condition of atomicity said the entire community is in total confusion and fear avoiding incident to be killed while called on the Government to dive in immediately over the deadly activities of cultist in the community which has definitely frustrated economic activities across the community and neighboring communities.
