APCON condemns indiscriminate posters

The Advertising Practitioner Council of Nigeria (APCON) has condemned indiscriminate posters which have no significant value to the people and the society at large.
The Deputy Director, registration and professional development, of the Advertising Practitioner Council of Nigeria, Mr. Joe Eugene Onuorah who made the condemnation while addressing Journalists at the APCON Conference in Uyo.
Mr. Joe Onuorah said this unfortunate experience came from those who are not registered members, they lack the professional ethics while advise them to desist from their unqualified practice across the society, as the practice is concerned.
According to him, the council would not continue to accept such development again as they are rubbing mud on the profession integrity which is well recognize across the globe.
He noted that the association has contributed their quota in boosting the nation economy and towards their profession developing the society in the right practice of their profession giving them the international standard acceptable across the globe showcasing advert that have value to the society.
The director said the conference would assist to correct lapses, challenges, etc. to meet up their practice and believe they have not failed rather moving forward to achieve the profession demand while always advise members to work as a team to achieve the purpose of the profession. He then commended their members to make sure the profession ethics should be respected and kick against indiscriminate posters in the society.
