Amnesty: Bounanawei backs Dokubo’s reappointment

Former Niger agitator Amb, Godday Smith aka (General Bounanawe/King of the forest) has joined others to throw his weight behind the continuity of Professor Charles Dokubo in the amnesty office as chairman/coordinator and special adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari.
Amb. Smith disclosed this Wednesday during an exclusive interview with Daily Watch, said ‘‘ We don’t change a winning team in football game. Professor Charles Dokubo as Chairman/coordinator and special adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari to continue in the second tenure . Professor Dokubo has done well and he should be re-appointed to manage the amnesty office, Ijaw leaders are behind him for his good management of the office’’ he said.
He said that Dokubo did not only brought about the needed peace in Niger Delta region, But regularized the educational/vocational training of various beneficiaries who could not attend their various training session over the years.
His words ‘‘ Professor Dokubo has brought hope to the youths of Niger Delta by regularizing the educational/vocational training of the amnesty programme by making those who could not attend their training to benefit over the years as well as prompt payment of beneficiaries. This has made the various youths leaders in Niger Delta supported his continuity in office ’’
