A’Ibom Govt commended for massive development Stride

The General Overseer Salvation of Grace Gospel Church, Rev. Ini-Abasi Okon has commended Akwa Ibom State Government for the massive developmental strife scattered across the three senatorial district would boost our economy.

The General Overseer, Rev. Ini-Abasi Okon made the commendation while speaking with Newsmen in Ifa Ikot Idang, Uyo Local Government Area. Said the tremendous development would surely boost our economy and put food on our table for Citizens to take advantage operate business across the State while called on Government to extend hand of fellowship to do the road Ini-Abasi Street at Ikot Idang which would seriously generate revenue and promote economic activities across the community, understanding the community road is link to other Local Government Areas would be of advantage to generate revenue to the Local Government and the State entirely.

The clergy believed Government would surely send their team to discover the said road which has a lot of potentials to benefit the entire Citizens of the State despite that the Church has contributed a lot to make sure Government assist them on the road to function for economic activities while the Church has been playing a great role across the community especially campaign for peace to reign across the community despite the chieftaincy tussle in the community advocating for peace among the worried faction.

He said as a Church they have gone round the community campaigning against Corona Virus and educate the entire indigence of the community how to tackle to avoid contact and spread of the COVID-19 Pandemic despite the Government guideline which their Church has complied especially maintaining social distance, put on their face masks and provide running water to wash their hands properly and sanitize them while during the lockdown they extend hand of fellowship as far as the palliative measure is concerned to frustrate suffering and hardship for the people not to witness while believe that God cannot forsake his people despite the COVID-19 Pandemic.

An Elder in the Church, Elder James Okon said they would not failed over their responsibility in assisting the community or society understanding the Church has great role to play in the society while called on Government to assist the community with road especially Ini-Abasi road that would generate a lot of revenue to the Local Government and the State while commended the Government effort of fighting COVID-19 for the sake of our Citizens to experience free Pandemic State. He said they have properly educate their Church members about the COVID-19 issue and has taken advantage of the Government guideline to avoid contact and spread of the disease
