This doesn’t seem to be a good news to the governor of Ondo state despite winning the Ondo state Governorship Tribunal Election rulings at the Tribunal few ago following threats by leaders of the Meyitti Allah’s Cattle breeders leaders to use their influence with the presidency and office if the AG to push the governor out of his esteemed position if he does not quickly kowtow to the dictates of the Fulani herders as regards the battle and problems they are facing in Ondo state.

One of the leaders of the Meyiti Allah’s kautol how group in Benue state Alhaji Mustapha confirmed that the herders are seriously incensed with Benue and Ondo governors whom herders all over Africa see as enemies of the herders by virtue of their laws and actions against Fulani herders in their states and as such have perfected plots to formally deal with the executive governor of Ondo state through the election petition in the court of Appeal using the consanguinity level of the Fulani to sway the whole case in Favour of the PDP candidate Jegede.

In the words of Bello Musterfer, a Fulani herder and leader in Benue state “We the Fulani’s worldwide are one and same and we see governor of Benue and Ondo state as number one hindrance to the Fulani’s business of cattle rearing in Nigeria. We have therefore reached am agreement to remove the governor of Ondo state through the Appeal court and the Supreme Court using our affinity with the AG and the Presidency so as to teach him and others a lesson on not how to fight the Fulani herders”

Daily watch findings confirmed that the Ondo state governor is already aware of the plot by Fulani leaders/herders to oust him from the seat in Ondo state using the Fulani connections inside the presidency and is said to be in frantic meet/plea with some Fulani leaders,emirs to help assuage and mitigate the anger of the headers Fulani/ leaders and stop them from the planned disgrace in the Appeal to Supreme Court.

Already the governor is said to have not just mellowed down on his stance against herders in Ondo but playing the repentant soul in his battle with herders in Ondo state because of the new developments.
