BREAKING: IGP disbands SARS

The Inspector General of police, Mr. Muhammed Adamu has announced the immediate disbandment of the special anti-robbery squad (SARS) following nationwide protests over its brutality.
The police chief made the disclosure on Sunday in a live broadcast.
What is not clear yet whether the ban of SARS by the police boss is enough to disperse Nigerian protesting youths who occupied strategic places barely three days ago.
Among the demands for the protesters is overall reform of the Nigerian security agencies where individual fundamental human rights is respected by the security forces, especially the Nigerian police.
