Alaibe pledges to transform Bayelsa
- Tasks delegates to choose rightly

As the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) prepares for it party primaries on the 3rd of September, 2019, the former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Commission (NDDC), Chief Timi Alaibe, has pledged to embark on the economic and infrastructural transformation of the state
Chief Alaibe disclosed this to newsmen when the Federated Correspondents Chapel, of the Nigerian Union of Journalist, paid him a courtesy in his residence in Yenagoa.
Alaibe said his vast experience and social network garnered over the years are credentials that can be exploited for the good of Bayelsa people.
The pioneer Chairman of the Presidential Amnesty Committee, said despite the unprecedented number of aspirants from the state, he was seeking the governorship with incomparable public and private sector credentials in terms of management of both human and financial resources.
According to him: “I come with strong leadership skills. I come with private and public sectors experience. I have the political capital.
“I have the social network that would be exploited for the good of Bayelsa people. I have strong managerial character and ideas needed to continue from where Governor Seriake Dickson will stop, after his tenure.
“I have quality business strategies to provide jobs for the youth. I have the required experience in conflict resolution. These are indisputable facts about me,” he said.
The former NDDC boss disclosed that having managed nine states with 145 localised government areas while serving at the NDDC, Bayelsa, with only eight local government areas, will benefit from that experience, if elected as the governor.
He appealed to the delegates to think properly before choosing whom to govern and take them to the next level.
Chief Alaibe, said all the aspirants mean well for the Bayelsa people, but they should support him for the good of all Bayelsa people.
