Bayelsa Guber: We’ll work with developmental oriented candidate-Hon. Sikpi

About fifty seven political parties under the auspices of United Political parties for Good Governance has said the platform will support any candidate that positively change the narratives by prudently using the resources of the state to provide the needed dividend of democracy in consonant with the aspirations of Bayelsa state founding fathers.

Hon. Sikpi Ebimobowei, Chairman, United Political parties for good governance who made the pronouncement in a statement made available to journalists in Yenagoa, said though Governor Dickson and other successive governors before him has tried their best but there is still alot that need to be done.

He said, they are ready to work with anybody that is ready to stimulate massive human, infrastructural, and industrial growth in the state, no matter the platform the candidate is coming from since it is all geared towards getting the best for the state.

He decried the alarming rate of abandoned projects littered across the nooks and crannies, but thanked the restoration government led by Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson for his development stride in all facet of the state.

He advised incoming government to maintain the culture of continuity and maintenance and create enabling environment for businesses to strive in the state.

His words: “An all inclusive government with a touch of the founding fathers aspiration that will positively revamp the state by establishing portable drinking water, carry out shore protection and complete ongoing and abandoned projects.
